In 2018 the Isshinryu Hall of Fame honored Aaron Sandubrae by naming him as the "Male Instructor of the Year". The Isshinryu Hall of Fame is the most prestigious Isshinryu organization in the world. It is a place where all Isshinryu karate-ka, regardless of lineage or affiliation, may come together to share in the common bonds that link us as one Isshinryu family.
